Second Trimester (18–22 weeks)

  • Urine routine

Essential Supplements in Pregnancy

  • Iron + Folic Acid: From 2nd trimester till delivery
  • Calcium: From 14 weeks onwards
  • Vitamin D: If deficient / high-risk
  • Td / TT vaccination: As per national schedule

When to Refer Immediately

  • Blood pressure ≥140/90 mmHg
  • Severe anemia (Hb <7 g/dL)
  • Bleeding per vaginum
  • Decreased fetal movements
  • Severe headache, convulsions
  • Suspected pre-eclampsia / eclampsia
