On July 1, National Doctors' Day is celebrated throughout India in honour of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, a physician and West Bengal's second chief minister. He was born on July 1st, 1882, and passed away on July 1st, 1962. In India, July 1 is celebrated as Doctors' Day to remember and honour the significant contribution doctors provide to society.
